How to Play Flappy Bird
Press Space, click, or tap the screen to make the bird flap its wings and fly upward. Release to let gravity pull it down. Navigate through the gaps between green pipes without touching them or the ground or ceiling.
🌙 Day / Night cycle — the background automatically transitions between day and night every 10 pipes
🎨 Unlockable skins — score 5 to unlock the space bird, score 15 to unlock the fire bird
📈 Difficulty — pipe gaps gradually narrow as your score increases, making every run more challenging

Flappy Bird — FAQs
How do I unlock new bird skins?
The Eagle skin unlocks when you score 5 points in a single run. The Fire Bird unlocks at 15 points. Once unlocked they stay available permanently (saved in your browser). Click the skin icons above the game to switch between them.
Does the game get harder over time?
Yes — the pipe gap shrinks slightly every 5 points you score. At higher scores the game moves faster too. The maximum difficulty caps out so it remains playable but extremely challenging.
Can I play on mobile?
Absolutely — just tap anywhere on the game canvas to flap. The game is fully responsive and works on all modern smartphones and tablets.
Is this the original Flappy Bird?
This is an original browser recreation inspired by the classic 2013 Flappy Bird game, with added features like day/night cycle and skins. It is not affiliated with the original developer Dong Nguyen.
